To protect yourself and others, you will need to control your child’s environment through sometimes out of the box thinking. Families have tried the following:

  • Wind chimes hanging by a child’s bedroom door to monitor departures.

  • A barking dog who follows your child around and barks when a stranger comes near.

  • Fluorescent lights in spaces you want as off limits spaced and full spectrum lighting in rooms where you’d like the child to spend time (a study area.)
